PORTRAIT SESSIONS

Portraits are a window to the soul. They tell stories. They hold space and time, magic and mystery. Most of all, they have the power to heal and transform.

This might sound cliché but there is truth here when we really dig deeper. When you think about it, in today’s online world sometimes all anyone will ever see of us is a photograph in a post or profile picture. My path has been one of constant transformation…and when I reflect on my journey I realize the role portraits that others have created of me and self-portraits have played in keeping me grounded in who I am while allowing me to recreate, reimagine, and re-establish myself and record my transformation. I look at each image and see a different story, a different side of me. By presenting ourselves to the world as we truly are, we might be better able to manifest our visions.

“Welcome to Ferngully,” my magical forest home. You have the option of having your portrait commissioned here. We are located 2.5 hours north-east of Tkaronto (Toronto), just north of Muskoka and west of Algonquin Park. Address and directions will be provided via email upon booking.
